During the tour, President Mahinda Rajapaksa met with several high-ranking officials including the Belarusian President as well as the Belarusian Prime Minister and engaged in bilateral discussions.
According to the Presidential Media Coordinating Secretary Wijeyanada Herath, discussions held during the tour were mainly aimed at boosting bilateral relations. He also added that several key agreements and MOUs were signed during this tour.
